Yes, yes I know it has been a while since my last post, but my readers are few, and wine rhetoric isn’t breaking news, so little has been missed.
I won’t go into the many new wines we are offering from points around the globe since it would be hard to sum up four months of retailing. The stores, as always, are well stocked with interesting and well thought out selections. I have seen many old faces that haven’t come around in a while and the consensus is, we are still at it, fighting the good fight, representing non-national brand wine.
Our vendors who travel the state chronicle the change in the wine industry, away from quality estate produced agricultural goods, to industrially manufactured and formulated products. I don’t have to take it personally that people don’t “get it” when it comes to wine. They want what they want when they want it. Good for them.
So for dinner tomorrow night we will cook whole food and pair the meal with a compelling natural wine that will foster conversation as well as moments of quiet appreciation, reminding me how fortunate I am and that life is good.
For those who are not moved by the wines they have experienced, the invitation is there as always, stop by EZ Liquors and brouse around. Don’t hesitate to try something you’ve never heard of and remember, I’m here to help you get the most out of your wine dollar… my contact info can be found on the “Contact” tab of this site. Imagine that! Till then, Cheers!
